Public Service

Mayor Marvin Rees

Like Carole, there are many activists who have chosen to take up public office to exert their influence to make positive things happen.

In this facet of the site Carole wish to feature prominent people on the local scene, past and present, who have taken a lead in helping to shape the conditions and future aspirations of the people of Bristol.

These individuals use their public office to sparkle and give a voice to the voiceless.  They support, protect and promote the rights of individuals including the most disadvantaged, for the advancement of the City and its place on the national and international map.
