I am proudly an Authority member of Avon Fire and Rescue who through the Charity GAFSIP have had a working relationship with Gambia for decades. We not only donate equipment but also provide fire safety training. I hope to visit next year and I look forward to hearing all about the trip

Eleanor Patricia Smith MP Member of Parliament (MP) for Wolverhampton South West since the 2017 general election. The first MP from an African Caribbean background to represent a constituency in the West Midlands. Prior to being an MP, Eleanor was a theatre nurse and President of the trade union Unison in 2011. Eleanor has also served as Chair of the Midlands Regional Trades Union Congress. From nursing to politics!!! Encouraged by the union to train to become and MP.
