Appointment to Cabinet as Deputy Cabinet Member for Communities Equalities and Public Health

Deputy Cabinet Member (DCM) to Deputy Mayor Cllr Asher Craig by Marvin Rees Elected Mayor of Bristol.

On the same day as Mayor Rees being announced the best Politician in the UK!

Rees appointed a number of new deputy members to his cabinet team: Celia Phipps, deputy cabinet member for adult social care; Paul Goggin, homes; Carole Johnson, communities, equalities & public health; Tim Rippington, transport; Lucy Whittle, climate, ecology & sustainable growth; Brenda Massey, education & skills; Tom Brook, city design. “Right across Bristol, local Labour councillors are making a real difference as champions for their communities,” said Rees. “Together, we have a proud record of standing up to Government cuts and protecting local jobs and services – which has never been more important. Our new deputy cabinet members will bring additional energy and experience to delivering for the whole city.”
