I am delighted to be co facilitating this year long Christian mentoring programme of 20 incredible individuals who have political aspirations launched on 15th October 2018. Attended by Stephen Timms MP, Jonathan Reynolds MP, Rosie Duffield, Alex Cunningham, Marsha De Cordova MP, Eleanor Smith MP and many more who are supporting including last year’s intake. It was an honour to hear the personal journeys achieved in such a short period of time. Let’s increase diversity here in the South West

Magistrates Bench Diversity – Recruitment Criminal justice has among the lowest proportion of senior staff from black and minority ethnic backgrounds. Current research reveals that in the Avon and Somerset Magistracy we currently have  a severe under representation of BAME Magistrates and Magistrates from working class backgrounds, in direct relationship to the populations that we are serving. While we are passionate about building a better society through involvement in left-sided politics, we recognise that we have many brothers and sisters in Christ who feel called to participate in other parties.
